I saw this band quite a while ago at Cardiff Barfly with The Slowdance, and pretty much fell in love there and then. The demo I heard around then was fucking great, but the album is definitely a step up from it. I love The Weakerthans, and I love The Promise Ring, and The 255s sound isn't distant from the two. Suffice to say, they are right up my street and hopefully, if you like the said bands they'll be up yours too. You can download their Album "Broadcasting" fo' free from the folowing link. Do it!
