We're on a roll lately with new releases, so to keep up the tradition here is yet ANOTHER new release. This time it's Deadlines! Deadlines are a sweet melodic yet abrasive punk band from Cardiff City. I always seem to put out releases by bands that sound a little bit like a certain band from the 90's whose name begins with the letter "J", but for once in my life I'm going to refrain from using that comparison (even though they really do kinda sound like Jawbreaker). Deadlines sound? It's pissed off, it's urgent, and it leaves you wanting more. It ticks every single box for me. And hopefully it will for you too.
Deadlines are going to be releasing a new EP via WWSBD in the new year, but in the meantime you can purchase their demo tape (released by Charlies label "Gutless Records") via the WWSBD store. Some with hand painted covers, and some with printed covers all dubbed one by one by Charlie in his bedroom on light blue cassette. More news on the EP soon!

RELEASES: The Modern Farewell
We’re incredibly excited to announce that we will be
releasing the debut album from Cardiff’s The Modern Farewell on tape! Cardiff
has definitely got it going on at the moment in terms of punk, and The Modern
Farewell are no exception to the tradition. They’ve been a band for quite a
while now, and hell, they already were great, but with this release the bar has
definitely been raised with the addition of second vocalist/guitarist Neil
Doran, adding a much more gritty edge to their sound. Imagine a cross
between The Lawrence Arms and Saves The Day and you’re just about half way
there. They sound equally as early 00’s pop punk, as they do a No Idea records
band (maybe), and much like everything guitarist/vocalist Jon Greenwood does
there’s some country / Springsteen vibes thrown in for good measure too.
This tape will mark our first Full Length album on WWSBD,
which is nuts considering this will be our 14th release! The tape should
be out at some point during October, so preorders won’t be up for a good while
yet, but we were so excited we thought it would be a good time to post it now.
In the meantime, check out “The Moon” from the album below, and get pumped!

RELEASES: Pipedream - New Colours
It's been a long while since I've posted on here, and even longer since WWSBD actually released something, both of which I apologise for. Real life shit got in the way for a while, but this post rectifies both of these problems. We are super pleased to announce that we will be releasing New Colours, the second EP and third WWSBD release from Pipedream from Cardiff City, on tape/cassette.
New Colours showcases Pipedream's more (dare I say) experimental side, and nods its head equally to the likes of Owls as it does to Jawbreaker in parts, but without it being completely obvious. Despite this the pop element is still there, and so is the emo and so is the ROCK. If you thought that last years Shell EP was a progression from the Demo of 2011, New Colours is in league of its own completely. If shell was Pipedream's Unfun this release is definitely Orange Rhyming Dictionary. Pipedream have completely raised the game, and you'd be a fool not to purchase a copy.
The Preorder for this tape will be up for this within the next few weeks, we're aiming for late September release, or early October so don't want to do preorders just yet and leave people waiting for ages for their tape. So in the mean time, download it from their bandcamp for free download. You wont regret it!

NEWS: Update and shit
I haven’t posted on here in quite some time. Truth be told, I’ve had nothing really to say, and real life shit has been getting real, yo. Regardless, we do have some plans over the up and coming months which you may or may not enjoy.
Can you believe there hasn’t been a WWSBD show since July? Absolute madness! To be honest, no cool bands have been touring lately, and those that have are way out of our DIY price range. Regardless, I’m planning on doing something big at Christmas time. I’ll post it here once everything is confirmed and set in stone.
What’s happening with that 4 way split tape (Sunday League / Cycle Schmeichel / Giant Peach / Haircut) that was supposed to be out fucking years ago you ask? Well, hopefully it’ll be out soon. A lot of things went off schedule and, well yeah… we’ll have more new on that soon. Promise.
That’s all I have to say for now. Yeah (what a pointless post, eh?) xoxo

NEWS: Back from tour.
Yo, just got back from tour. I had the best week I ever could have asked for! Cheers to anyone who bought tapes from me at some point... I think that was like 2 people? Either way, cheers!
In other news, I'm so far behind on mail order that it hurts. Sorry if you've been waiting for a while. I'm in the process of packing up all the Pipedream pre-orders, which is a lot harder when you've run out of Jiffy bags, doh!
In more unrelated less negative news, you can now preorder that Dividers / ten speed bicycle second press from Youth Camp Records by clicking this link: http://youthcamprecords.bigcartel.com/product/dividers-ten-speed-bicycle-split

NEWS: Muncie Girls S/T Repress!
Wow, I suck so hard with updating this site nowerdays. But yeah, the Muncie Girls tape repress has been with us for quite a while now... Limited to just 30 copies, first 10 on see through lime green, the rest on blue. Get on it! Muncie Girls are a Pop Punk band from Exeter. They kinda remind me of The Measure (SA) crossed with The Cut Ups! Get on it!
PREORDER: Pipedream - Shell EP
Finally Shell, the long awaited second release from Pipedream of Cardiff City, is up for preorder! Why it took so long? Because it got re-recorded about 20 times because Tom probably forgot to save the mixes or something, I dunno... regardless, it's here! Atlast!
Pipedream combine the sounds of Jawbreaker and Mock Orange to create a sound that separates them from other bands trying to do the whole "pop punk" thing at the moment. They sound equally as fresh as they do a band straight out of the 90's. Pipedream are in a league of their own, and they're GREAT.
Pressing info:
1 Gold (Pre-order - chosen at random)
20 See-through orange (Pre-order only)
20 green (band only copies)
20 yellow (available on and after Dividers / Pipedream tour via us and some other distros)

NEWS: Update...
There have been some slight delays with the Hell Money tapes, but they SHOULD be with us next week with any luck! Fingers crossed! Thanks for your patience. 2 months is way to long to wait for a tape, I know but it seems that countless things have occurred to prevent us from getting this tape out, when it should have been out last month. But yeah, thanks for waiting. It'll be worth it I promise!
In other Hell Money related news, the whole of the EP is now up on their bandcamp which you can access here: http://hellmoney.bandcamp.com/ I think you'll find that it is pretty good. So stoked to be releasing this!
ALSO, I seem to have posted this everywhere (tumblr, facebook etc) bar here, but THANKS SO MUCH to everyone who came out to the shows we did last month! Putting on 3 shows in one month was a dumb idea, but it turned out to be totally worth it. So yeah, thanks so so much. You can see some videos of the shows here and photos here!

NEWS: I've been so fucking slack...
I was going to post a lengthy post about what's been going on since I last posted. But bullet points are waay more efficient...
- Caves from Bristol have been added to the already amazing Bridge and Tunnel show on May 16th at Mozarts, Swansea!
- We will be releasing a tape by Hell Money from Bridgend. The release show will be the Bridge and Tunnel show, and preorder will be up pretty soon for those unable to make the show!
- Pipedream "Shell EP" is almost completed. The tape version which we're releasing will have an exclusive track that you wont be able to get anywhere else! Expect preorders and release shows to be posted soon.
- We're starting up a 4 way split series with the lovely Life On An Island of Long Island, New York! The first edition will feature Sunday League, Cycle Schmeichel, Giant Peach and Haircut and should be available in June time!
- "Before You Go" by Forrest sold out SUPER fast, so there'll be a repressing very soon!
- Muncie Girls tape is going to be repressed really soon! Hopefully be ready in time for the Spraynard show on May 8th at Mozarts, Swansea!
- Dividers will be touring with Glass Avalanche on certain dates and Pipedream on others this July. Go here to see the dates and to see who is playing what!

You can now preorder the new Forrest EP "Before You Go"; the long awaited second release from Neath, South Wales finest (and only?) Pop Punk group. The "official" release date is 7th April, but if you preorder you'll get this around a week or so before that... just in time for you to learn the words for the release show at Mozarts, Swansea!

NEWS: SSOT / Olive Anne Tapes Arrived (as did stupid assignments)
So, they arrived on friday, but since and before then I've been up to my ears in assignments meaning that I simply have not had the time to hand number the inserts, cut out lyric and download codes, and post these babies out. Fear not though, all of these should be sent out by the end of this week! Thank you so much for your patience, and I hope you enjoy the tapes once they get to you!

SHOWS: Upcoming WWSBD shows!!!
So we have 3 amazing shows coming up in May...
8th May, 2012 - Spraynard, Little Ease, Muncie Girls and 1tbc - Mozarts, Swansea
Pat from Spraynard said this about the last time they played Swansea: "I think the show that pops into our heads the most often with this question is our show in Wales, UK. Our UK tour was so surreal in the first place, but at that show, kids just went absolutely crazy. Our friend Sean jumped off the top of a balcony into the crowd at one point. It was just amazing to see so many kids giving a shit about our crappy band. I think that show was definitely a turning point as to how we viewed punk rock in general".
Spraynard are possibly my favourite pop punk band since Osker. Hailing from West Chester, PA, these 3 dudes play positive heart felt tunes that your face will refuse not to smile to. FFO: Osker, Latterman, Kid Dynamite.
Support comes from Little Ease, Muncie Girls and 1 more band to be confirmed. More details very soon!
16th May, 2012 - Bridge & Tunnel, Forrest, Hell Money and 1tbc - Mozarts, Swansea
Third visit to Swansea for Bridge & Tunnel, so you should know by now what to expect by now. If not, take it from me... Bridge & Tunnel are without a doubt one of the most energetic, passionate, and generally talented bands you'll ever see. Despite featuring ex-members of Latterman, Thousandaires, Eachothers Mother aswell as a load more, they manage to sound completely unalike to their past efforts, and truly are in a league of their own. Listen to their latest record "Rebuilding Year" on No Idea and you'll know what I'm talking about. This band go from strength to fucking STRENGTH.
Support comes from Forrest and Hell Money
22nd May, 2012 - Direct Hit, The Priceduifkes, Forrest, Not Since The Accident - The Full Moon, Cardiff
Co-promo with STHC! <3 Direct Hit are a Pop Punk band that are filled to the rim with fun and energy! Coming from Milwaukee, this band tip their hats to Andrew WK, The Thermals and The Ramones in equal measure! Download their record "DOMSPLITTER" and (fuck you) get pumped!
Support comes from The Priceduifkes, Forrest, Not Since The Accident
Posters for all three shows, aswell as event pages with more adequate descriptions will be online within due time, but for now mark your diaries, and get excited. It's only 4 months to go until May, y'know?
