Watch Commander are a great new melodic punk rock band hailing from Worcester, England. My band were lucky enough to play with them on our recent tour and I was completely blown away by how enthusiastic and heartfelt their tunes were for a fairly new band. In a word, Watch Commander are great and if you enjoy the likes of Make Do And Mend and Hot Water Music they will be right up your street! "Closer To Home" showcases the bands ability to to write songs pulsing with both abrasiveness and melody, in a way that so many bands have tried and failed in recent years!
